I'm thinking of using this MB for my girlfriends computer, but I had a couple of questions.

It is rated for PC2700. Can I use PC3200 memory at 333 fsb? I always thought that you could, but I've heard that the M7NCG 400 is very picky about memory and wont work with PC3200. Is this true, or were people just trying to RUN at PC3200 speeds?

I will probably start out by keeping her XP1700+ and upgrading to a mobile XP2400+ later. Will I be able to boost the fsb to 333 and just crank up the multi? Any other problems with this scenario?

How adjustable are the fsb, multipliers, voltages, etc?

As long as I keep the fsb at 333 or below, the onboard video should be fine, right?

Any other thoughts or suggestions?

PC3200 should run just fine in that board. Multipliers work on unlocked CPUs like the mobile. Your 1700+ may be fine if it is a Tbred. Multipliers don't bridge 12.5 on this mobo, so depending on your CPU the multiplier will give you 12.5 and below, or 13 and above. The motherboard is an unofficial 400FSB and can do that if you bump Northbridge voltage in BIOS. One revision of the board (rev2?) does not have overclocking features, but rev1 and rev7 do (1,2,7 were only revisions that people have seen AFAIK). FSB and voltage give a reasonable range.
