I am looking for a cheap BX motherboard ($50 or less) to run a PII 450 and an assortment of old parts for a kids computer. Justdeals.com has a Biostar M6TBA or a M6TZF new in the box for about $50. Has anyone had experience with these boards?? I know they aren't great, but even an old used BH6 with no guarantee is more $$. Thanks for the input. Rick.

I'm not sure about the M6TBA or the M6TZF, but I have a Biostar M6TBC which is similar and has been working fine for me with a celeron 300a@450. I got it used at Computer Geeks, and they have a few other cheap slot1 bx mobos available, too. You can find them here.

Also, overstock.com has an Intel WS440BX OEM board for $49. Find something else to get the total over $50, then check out techb@rgains.com for a $20 off $50 code for new customers. Final price would be $30 with free shipping.

BTW, those Biostar boards at Justdeals might be refurbs also, since they are whitebox with only a 30 day warranty.
