I'm using TWINMOS desktop PC3200 ram, matched pair 2x512MB. Board wont post with this ram or with 2x512 kingston value RAM with 2 sticks in the board. (one stick is fine).
I've loaded newest bios. All biostar would say is "it might be motherboard or CPU issue"
I've got all the memory timings set on auto in bios.
When I thought there was a problem with the kingston RAM I took out the stick that had been in slot2, and put it in slot one; when the board failed to post it seemed more than likely that there was a problem with the RAM.
I've just done the same with the TWINMOS and guess what, the stick that was in slot2 wont work in slot one. Is it possible that a problem with the board could kill the RAM? If so is biostar responsible for my dead ram? (2 lots of it!!)
