BIOSTAR K8M800 - widescreen wont work?

I just built a system for someone with that VIA IGP graphics solution and it does the same thing. I've tried 3 variations of BIOSes and none of them support 1440 X 900. I was able to force it with one of the BIOSes but it resulted in really weird image distortion that didn't work at all.

If you set your display to 1280 X 768 it doesn't look too terrible. Not ideal, but it will work until you can get VIA to give you a working BIOS.
