Biostar Ideq 200P + Audigy = POS?

Has anyone had experience with the new Biostar Ideq 200p and any PCI sound cards, or any other PCI devices for that matter under WinXP? I can get the Audigy card to work under 2 other systems running XP Pro, but not under the Ideq, and the support on their website is downright horrible, there are no drivers links and their only BIOS update is corrupted, lol. To top it off, the CD I received with the unit that I ordered from Newegg is corrupted too, because I've tried it in three drivers. What's really funny, is WinXP sees device, I can install drivers, but there is no sound when playing MP3s, even if I go under Winamp and select waveout output as the SB400 device. All I can say is WTF, and there needs to be warning on Biostar's website saying this. Tested for reliability = BS. I honestly do not see how it can be an IRQ issue because XP virtually ignores the IRQ settings from the BIOS, however there are 3 devices on the IRQ list here. My first attempt at setting the IRQs to manual, and reserving IRQ 9 resulted in locking in a black screen coming up instead of WinXP loading, lol, lovely. This board and system IMO really sucks at the moment, so I guess this is less technical support needs, and more a warning on others considering this system. Really a shame considering it does RAID0 well with the Raptors, and XP installs in less than 15mins. The new nForce 3 chipset drivers do not seem to help either, although very funny to watch them screw up your ATI Radeon drivers if you try to uninstall them, hmm no rivalvry there...

it looks like you forgot to disable the onboard audio devices, it's likely the two are fighting for resources and won't let each other play nice.

Thanks for the respone. I had disabled on the onboard sound card, but it still did not work. I guess I'll just return the Audigy card until Biostar writes me back. I went ahead and enabled the onboard sound card, and was able to identify it and find drivers off of realteks site. Most of the drivers fortunately can be found by rummaging their site for the chipsets this board uses, it shouldn't be this way, I mean new products should have their driver pages up the quickest and should be paid the most attention to, but when have motherboard manufacturers ever had great tech support? Unfortunately all the reviews on this thing use the onboard sound, and none of them use a PCI card in it, really a shame, since they have no idea that this possibly does not work.
