I'm using this motherboard with a CPU I know that will hit 2.6 and memory that I have set to very loose timings... timings I know it will hit. But, everytime I overlock.. even a little... the computer boots up to a screen that says "Safe Mode" "Please re-setting CPU frequency in CMOS setup."
