im not very familiar with the latest mb and cpu tech but i was given this combo:

BIOSTAR A690G M2+ AM2+/AM2 AMD 690G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813138107

AMD 9500

i assume the cpu wont run at full speeds since its hyper transports is 3600MHz while the mb only supports upto 1000MHz, correct? if it doesnt then why does the mb support AM2+ cpus? also, i assume hyper transports is amds version of fsb?
