Bought this game a long time ago on Steam (for 5 buckaroos) and have yet to play it since I could never actually get into the game without it crashing. I've been kinda lazy about and kept checking again and again to see if the problem would fix itself, but no luck. Have updated my video drivers plenty of times, so they don't seem to be the problem. Also tried reinstalling it a couple times. I don't have any problems with any other games on Steam. So I just have to find out why this game hates my computer.

For a long time it would just freeze on the first loading screen after clicking "new game". Now it starts in 1/3 the size of my computer screen and if I try to change the resolution it crashes instantly. Anyone have the same crashing problems and end up figuring out how to fix it? Cause that's pretty much my only hope :p

Running in Vistax64, computer hardware is very up to date.

Solution #3:
The third option (which worked for me) is to disable the Tablet service in Windows Vista. I'm not sure why this worked, but since I did it I've been playing Bioshock in FULLSCREEN MODE with DX10 & SLi turned on and haven't had a single hitch (save for some sound issues but that's another post.

Damn that's crazy, tablet service causing a game to crash at every turn. Must be the main problem I'm having. Thanks for the information.
