Bioshock - Lost Saved Games Help

I picked up Bioshock last week and I have been playing it almost non stop. I'm pretty far in when I fired up my 360 today and got an error message. Everything on my hdd was lost and I had to do a recover gamertag to get everything back but all my saves are gone.

Is there any way that I can import a save from somewhere? I really don't want to start all the way from the beginning again.
 
Sounds like it formatted your hd. If that's the case, the saves are gone unless you copied them to a memory card.

All of your gamertag information is stored online, that's why recovering it worked.

Yep. I have no idea how it got formatted. I just wish I could find a save point from someone that saved it in a similar spot. I started over and I'm working my way back to the spot again. Oh well.
