Bioshock, DRM, and install limitations

As I understand it, Bioshock only allows you to install the game a limited number of times. It requires authorization over the internet in order to play.

If I install the game onto an XP partition, and also a Vista partition, on the same PC, will that count as two installs? And if I reboot into each OS, and go back and forth a few times, will that burn up my authorizations too?

Is this just a really bad idea, and am I actually required to purchase the game twice, in order to say, test the difference between DirectX9/XP and DirectX10/Vista?

IIRC they got rid of the game install limiting. You can install it as many times as you want now
