Eh....I bet this will run like crap on my PC.
I read previews for it, but it's not something I'm pumped about...looks really good, though. Perhaps not my type of game...but I'd like to play it.

I'm lost. Are these reviews for the 360 or the PC? I'm in the console forum so I'm making an assumption they are console reviews but you never know!I'm sure PC Gamer focuses on PC games but what about the other?

I'll play it just because its next gen but I hate the fact that its got a slightly horror look to it. At least thats what I've gathered from the screens I've seen. Horror games make me very paranoid which I hate being.

I'm in the same boat as you about being paranoid; but I think Bioshock is more about just feeling strange instead of 'jump out and scare you'. <- those type of games bother me.

Jeez - I don't buy a ton of games, but there will be 5 absolute must-buy 360 titles in a 3-month period: Bioshock, Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, HL Orange Box (though I might buy the PC version) and GTA IV, with two others in the mix that I would almost certainly buy if there weren't SO many other amazing games at the same time (Mass Effect and PGR4).
Bioshock looks like it could be like the original Half-Life - the coolest game ever made at the time of its release for someone with my sensibilities. It could also be unexceptional and unwieldy to play because of its novel, open-ended nature. We shall see, but IMO there's a lot of reason for optimism about its quality.
