Bios won't overclock but Easy Tune 6 can?

When ever I overclock with easy tune 6, and I run CPUZ and prime 95, the core speed is the same as what I overclocked it to with easy tune. But when I overclock in the BIOS, it doesn't work. I have an EP45-UD3R with the newest bios, F9. My rev is 1.1 and I disabled all of the power saving features. Help? I am using a Q6600 processor, and overclock to 3.4 ghz with easy tune.

More info needed. What settings exactly are you changing in the BIOS? Are you sure you are Saving & Exiting?
