BIOS will not keep system time?

Oh Boy???...Got a used Epox MVP3G5 and it would not keep correct system time so I installed a new battery...no help! Downloaded the latest BIOS and installed...no help so I investigated BIOS further and found there are numbers that will not 'roll-over' when trying to set correct time.

MISSING NUMBERS BELOW:
Hour = 21, 19, 15, 11, 9, 5
Minutes = 51, 41, 31, 21, 11, 1
seconds = couldn't get any because it
kept trying to increase but couldn't,
so some missing there too.

Would flashing to an older BIOS help??? ANY suggestions appreciated.

Did that.....didn't help.......I wrote EPoX and they said it was probably a bad RTC chip. Anyone know of a page that cross references MOBOS with RTC chips and who might sell them? EPoX wouldn't give me any more info.?
