bios upgrade

Hi folks,
would any of you tech savvy people enlighten me if it is possible to upgrade my ASUS P5WD2-E premium mobo bios so that i might be able to use a CONROE 2 cpu.

It's not just a case of a supporting BIOS but Core 2 needed a new VRM design from previous 775 CPUs.
You might want to check in an Asus specific community but as the Asus Global website doesn't mention Core 2 support for that board months after they launched the CPUs I would guess that it can't/doesn't.
