BIOS upgrade?

Hi. I have a Sony VAIO PCVRX660. If I find the brand name and model of my motherboard, should I be able to get a BIOS upgrade from the motherboard manufacturer website?

Notebook mainboards are usually specifically made for the particular notebook. If there's nothing from Sony, then there is nothing.

Click on search
Select components - Bios

There is a Bios version 1004 dated 11/20/2002. Hope this helps, good luck.
