BIOS upgrade destroyed mobo

Hi,

wanted to upgrade the BIOS on an MSI K7 Turbo v3 and it went wrong. It starts, but it says something like wrong floppy, or so. Do you know if there is a posibility to rescue the BIOS (and mobo) without pulling out the chip from the mobo?

Thanks.

So it starts up and correctly prints out error messages to the display? Is it recognising any boot floppies? You might want to try re-flashing with a boot floppy if it is recognising them. Usually if it comes up and can print out messages it can be saved, its only when nothing happens at all that you have problems.

Well, it says:

"Award BIOS block 1.01

Trying to find floppy
Floppy error"

So, it's not recognizing the floppy at all...

Thanks anyway

Put the correct bios file on a floppy, put it in the floppy drive and boot...it should recover it the boot block wasn't erased.
