When I try and update my bios with Asus update utility, I get the error; Fail to verify EEPROM with new BIOS image
any idea what I need to do?

I had trouble updating my k7m a while back. I had to rename the file from 10009 or whatever to something.bin or something. This may not help, but it was a problem I had.
