Hey, for all who have this mobo. I have the BIOS update that you can do in windows. But when I try to update my BIOS from the 100.1G I think it what I have now. Anyways, when I try to do this the program runs for a LONG time, but nothing ever happens. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or if someone has been able to update their BIOS then please let me know the secret to doing it. Thanks.

I downloaded the 1002.01 bios and I loaded it on the asus live update. Everything worked fine and I had a very successful flash. There really wasn't much to it.

But how did you do that? Did you open up the Asus Update and click on "Next" and go to download from the Internet? And then once you downloaded it what did you do? Did it just do it all for you? Let me know, thanks.

I tried to use that program too but just kept getting error messages...

So I just used AWDFLASH.exe on a floppy /w the BIOS.

I had already had it downloaded from a mirror on the internet. I clicked load bios or wutever it was called. I browsed for the bios and selected it. Then it updated it and voila.

Okay, I just uninstalled and reinstalled my Asus Update. I went to download from Internet, and click update. It told me it would close so that it could update the BIOS. Then an error with a red "x" came up.
Says:
ASUS Update: Update.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x0042248a" referenced memory at "0x00000015". The memory could not be "read".
I have one stick of 512 - 3200DDR from Mushkin. So I know there is NOTHING wrong with my memory. Let me know if yall can help. Thanks

Peace!

Download the bios from asus website *before* you use live update. then when you use live update load the file. I recommend getting the 1002.001 bios.
