Bios update necessary?

My motherboard is an older one....Asus P2-99B. I just noticed that there is a bios update for it. Should I update it just because?

Not unless you like to gamble. If your PC runs fine right now, don't "fix" it.

John is right on! The only reason to do a BIOS flash is if your present one fails to do something you want or need, and the new BIOS changes that. Otherwise, if it ain't broke. . . don't!
