BIOS update incorrect (CPUID=00000686). Update not loaded

I keep getting the following BIOS error and the only reference and hope that I found was to a similar post.

However, this error reared it's tame little head when I was cloning my c:\ drive. After I cloned it I swapped it with the clone and all of a sudden I'm getting the BIOS error that's in the subject header. The OS (win2kPro) does, however, load ok and everything seems to be working just fine. I've tried flashing the latest Bios but I still get the same error.

Any ideas?

System Specs:
1) Win2kPro
2) PIII 800E
3) 256M 100Mhz SDRAM
4) 2 Maxtor 7200rpm 20G IDE HD's
5) Maxtor ATA/100 IDE card (2 HD's R hooked)
6) Asus P2-99 mobo (Intel ZX chipset)
