Bios Update in Win2000 using WinXP Boot Disk?

I's it ok to use a Windows XP boot disk (with bios files on it) to update the bios on a Windows 2000 machine or do you have to use the four floppy boot disks designed for Windows 2000?

Actually a DOS Bootdisk would be Best.
That way no other device drivers or programs get loaded.

The less you have running when flashing a Bios, the safer it is.
If you need a DOS bootdisk, they can be found here:

Bootdisks

Grab the DrDOS one.

Yeah, that's one of my favourite sites too.

Quite handy if you ever need a 98 bootdisk and are merely surrounded by W2K / XP boxes 🙂.
