BIOS temps???

MY BIOS temps are a good 5C lower than what speedfan shows a load. Are Bios temps always at load? Which should I trust?

I have a K7N2 "L" MSI wiht award/pheonix BIOS.

I would trust the BIOS number before the speedfan number. I agree that neither the BIOS or any other software monitor is all that reliable, but I am not about to go and and get an external temp sensor when the BIOS is close enough.
