First, my specs:
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum
A64 3000+
x800XT PCI-E
2005FPw
Anyways, I left my computer running last night and kept it running while I was at school this morning .....
When I came back, nothing would display on the screen ... but I know that Windows was still running because my iTunes playlist was still playing (I had left it on repeat; my speakers were off during the night and day, that's why I didn't hear it then; I turned on the speakers now and it was still playing)
I restarted the computer, and the BIOS showed, but when the Windows XP load screen is supposed to show, it doesn't show
I tried connecting through both DVI and VGA, but still nothing
I was using the drivers that were released in early April ...
edit: BTW, I am on XP Professional SP2
And, usually, whenever I turn off the computer and leave the monitor on, the monitor lights will turn orange ... but while the BIOS is showing and while I'm waiting and hoping for the XP load screen to show up, the lights stay green
So there is a signal going from the comp to the monitor
