Bios Settings

I've been poking around in the bios, and I found one item that I'm curious about...V-Link Voltage. Does anyone know exactly what this is?

Whether anyone knows or not, could anyone give me a link to a guide on bios settings? Preferably for my motherboard, but any good general guide would do nicely.

Thanks, but the page on that link is more about selling a book on the subject, than providing information. They have a very brief guide available for free, but if you really want to understand anything, you have to buy their book. I have been Googling for V-Link voltage, but the returns that I have found were either contradictory or vague.

Click on that link, scroll down abot 1/3 of the page, click on Free Access.
The first red title is System Bus. At the bottom of that section is:
V-Link 8X Support
V-Link Data 2X Support
V-Link Data Rate
V-Link Mode Selection

You *might* want to read all four to get an idea of what V-Link Voltage is or what it is for.

Adrian's BIOS Guide is only considered THE BEST avalible.

When you find a better offering, please PM it to me.:disgust:

Thanks again, but all four of those items appears to be related to the video and are in MHz. But the item that I'm referring to only has 2 settings...either 2.5 or 2.6, which make it appear that it is related to the ram voltage. The reason that I'm trying to figure this, is because I believe my ram is 2.6 and this is set at 2.5, which is what it defaulted to after I disabled the AI. However, there is also a DDR setting, with values between 2.5 and 2.8, which are obviously ram voltages. Thus V-Link voltage is not yet clear.
