i was reading up on some of the bios settings not normally talked about and i wanted to see what others had these settings at...

agp aperture size = 128MB
system bios cacheable = disabled
video ram cacheable = disabled
agp frequency = 66MHz (it was set at auto but since its overclocked i changed it to 66)

with my fsb being overclocked, if the agp freg was on auto was it at 66MHz or higher?
is it best to set it at 66MHz or auto??

with aperture size is it true that anything higher is overkill?

and bios and ram cacheable is wasting mem bandwidth right?? this was only needed with older slower video cards and system correct?

with the epox 8rda+ mobo is there a setting in the bios that lets you change the pci frequency?? if not can i assume its locked at 33MHz??

1) It would vary, I think
2) 66MHz, unless you want to overclock your agp bus
3) I don't really know, but I usually use 64MB OR half of the memory that I'm using. More often than not I use 64MB
4) unsure.
5) If you lock your AGP at 66MHz then your PCI will be locked at 33MHz.

yea i did some searching and i found that the epox 8rda+ has a locked pci frequency.

but if anyone can shed some light on the other issues that would be great!
