Video Shadow, cache? memory exclusions? I haven't upgraded video in a long time and don't know what the cards today are best with.

I have a Abit BX6r2 and a 128MB ATI Radeon 8500.

Thanks

Chris

Hey Chris,

I just bought an 8500LE 128MB myself, and I found that disabling anything extra in the BIOS' AGP settings worked best for me. I think I left Video Shadow on, but turned off fast writes, and every other speed-"improving" feature. I also had to drop the AGP mode to 2X to get it to work on an AMD 761 chipset motherboard. However, it works great now!
