BIOS settings for LAN jacks on MSI K8N Neo 4 Platinum

MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum has 4 BIOS settings for the 2 optional on-board LAN ports; all have [enable / disable] as BIOS options:

Onboard LAN Control
Onboard LAN Option ROM
Onboard GigaBit LAN
Onboard GigaBit Lan ROM

I have one ethernet cable connecting the PC and the linksys router. What are all of these settings for, and how many of them need to be enabled?

These settings disable the port, and its boot services, respectively. One set for the two LAN ports you have there.

You obviously want the port enabled that you're using, and since you don't appear to boot off a network service, you might want to disable the boot ROMs.
