Hi guys

There is a setting called DRAM Clock/Timing Control in my bios which has 4 choices.

1)By SPD
2)DDR 200 MHz
3)DDR 266 MHz
4)DDR 333 MHz

I have 512 Mb of pc2700 RAM and the bios is currently set at SPD whatever this means. Would I benefit by selecting one of the other options?
My CPU is a P4 2.66 GHz. Would appreciate advice.

Thanks

Frank

.SPD as far as I know means Serial Presence Detect which should be available on most new memory sticks and most new motherboards.
It just allows the bios to set memory timing automatically by reading timing data from the memory stick. dont use if you want to overclock your memory.
