Bios Rom Checksum Error! Please Help!

I have google'd and found a few solutions but none of them have fixed the problem.

Mobo:NF7-S
2500 Barton
9700 Pro
Audigy 2

When the board goes to post I get a High/Low beep from the speaker, then this message:

Award BootBlock BIOS V1.0

Bios Rom Checksum Error

Detecting floppy drive a media...
INSERT SYSTEM DISK TO CONTINUE

Any ideas?
Most of what I have found is bad CPU or Power Supply.
Before I tear into it I wanted to see if anyone has had this problem.

Could be a bad battery on the mb.

Checksum error sounds like a bad BIOS upgrade. Board may need to be reflashed.

Reset the time and date in the bios.

Battery is good, and I can't reset the time because the board posts to the above message.

I don't know if I can flash from that prompt and I'm not sure I want to try

I don't have a problem flashing the bios, I just have a feeling it may make it go to RMA land...

Any other suggestions are welcome, or I may flash it in the AM..

Does the board count memory and detect drives before the stop error?

Nope, goes straight to the error...

I think its RMA time...I was reading on NForcersHQ about it and most say even a new bios chip wont fix it beings that it is the bios ROM chip that is bad. This is 2 NForce boards in 2 months to go bad...Time to go back to Via I guess...
