I have a MSI Neo2Plat 939 board with an AMD64 3200 chip. All was running fine.. had it OC'ed for a while. Never a crash. However just recently I went into the Bios to look at something and the bios runs like it's in slow motion. All the windows open at an incredibly slow pace... it draws the frame around the bios window like 1" per second... it takes minutes to scroll down to the area I actually want to see. What gives?/ Any ideas? the system is running great so no other issues. I have the original 1.3 BIOS the board came with and never flashed it.

Thanks!

Well I would try to upgrade the bios on it to the latest version to start with.

Never EVER attempt a BIOS flash on a machine that doesn't run right to this degree.

This slowness is typical for when the board is running in "thermal throttle" mode, preventing CPU death. Check your CPU cooling - it might be loose, fan dead or not connected, that kind of stuff.

2nd possibility: the caches in the CPU have taken damage. The CPU built-in self test detects that and turns them off, and the remaining speed is about that of the original PC-XT.
