Hey all,

I have a Leadtek WinFast K7NCR18D Pro that I just bought from a friend. He was using an XP1600. I am using a XP2100. When I go to System Info, its says its only XP1600. How do I change the speed of the CPU in the Bios. And i am assuming that I can, i just cant find it.

THanks

The BIOS might be just reporting the wrong # but the actual speed maybe correct. I would check with CPUID, I think Motherboard Monitor can even do it.

But if it still bugs you, just update the BIOS and it should display correctly afterwards.

It's purpose is to monitor tempertures, case temps and CPU temps. It also does voltages on the CPU, and some others. If I remember correctly it does the clock speed of your CPU too.

Neat program to have around and it runs in Windows so you can get some real time tempertures of what is going on if you suspect temps. might be a problem.

I believe this is the main site. Linky not working for me :( They have a section on there telling you what parameters to use when setting up Motherboard Monitor. But since it isn't working for me right now, I can't give you a direct link.

Edit: OK, link problem was Google's fault. On the left 'Motherboard List' to find your board.

Top right is for the latest download. 5.3.2 My origial link was for 5.3.?
