hey guys, i'm running a crossfire advantage mobo. just powered up for the first time and i'm wondering if i should reset the bios right off the bat, or let the system config itself.

also, i am using an SATA hard drive (WD 150 gb 10k) and i'm wondering if i have to connect TWO power lines to it (molex & another one that i don't know the name, it's thin and has chips like the SATA cable)

and since i'm running SATA for my h/d, should my CD drive be in the master IDE slot? thanks!

For power, you can use either the molex 4 pin or SATA power. Putting the CD on IDE1 master is fine.

Don't everever plug both power cables to your HD - that is a surefire way to kill something
