bios question

I have the A8V deluxe mobo. I went to bios and wondered what the promise fastrak controller is. I have a IDE 120gb drive. I dont have raid. Can i disable that? also can someone tell me what i can do in bios that i dont need or do need. Thanks already

Yes, you can disable it.

This board has an additional SATA (RAID?) controller, which needs its own BIOS module to offer boot services. If you got nothing connected there, or do have something connected but don't boot off that something, you can disable this BIOS module.
