Bios problem!!

I have a sy-k7v dragon plus mb and I got the updated bios from soyo, followed the instructions on flashing the bios. now the pc stopped responding in the middle of the flash and I had to reset. Now i am told that the bios is corrupt and i'll have to buy a new one or send mine in for reprogramming, I was wandering if there is any other way of getting it back up again? I'm reduced to this old 166mgz when i'm used to a 1.3ghz Please help!!!

try to clear the cmos,
did you back up your bios?

don't mess with your bios unless somethin aint working

I chose to back it up before it went to program.
