bios problem with a8v deluxe

i just flashed to the most recent bios (1011) for the a8v deluxe. after noticing that it wouldnt allow 1t command rate, i wanted to flash back to 1009. i had it on a floppy, and i used the asus update tool in windows to flash it. it started to read the file off the floppy (this is before it started to flash) but the drive just made a lot of weird noises for about 10 mins. i pulled out the disk, then the drive was spinning like crazy. so, i tried to stop the program in task manager. it wasnt showing up there. i rebooted the computer. then, i got the bios from asus's website instead of my floppy. i opened the program and an error came up saying something about asus update.dll or something. i uninstalled it, and tried to install it from the cd. it said it detected no asus motherboard. i opened cpu-z and an error came up that said there was an error and some information might not be available. it opened, and everything was there. im kind of freaked out here. i have no idea what happened. please help me! thankyou very much.
