BIOS Password

Question!

I've got a Compaq Presario 17XL260, and it has a BIOS password on it. Is there anyway to "Clear the CMOS" on the laptop to clean out the password? Its a Phoenix BIOS.

tried that...wasn't sure what it was

Just remove the battery and put it back in. Password all gone.
