Removing CMOS battery does not usually work in a laptop, especially a business laptop. This is deliberate to counter thievery. In many cases it must be sent back to the OEM or service center so that ownership can be proven. Dell Latitude is a business laptop.

You really need to provide the service tag as provided on the BIOS lock screen, as there is a "-" followed by a four digit code at the end of the service tag that is really needed to generate a master password.

However, you can try the following three to see if one of them might work:
