well i just finished buying the last component to my customers computer and it was the motherboard...it was budget system so i picked up the ASROCK P4VM800....and everything worked great off first boot except one thing i cant get into BIOS at ALL....and i dont get a screen as soon as i bootup telling me my CPU speed ram speed and what it found etc......i have tried both the DELETE key and F1 key right from bootup but i get nothing on the screen until it boots into windows XP home.....if anyone has any idea as to how to get in, or has this board and has the same problem or something please let me know ASAP as i would like to get the system out to a customer tonight!

the button to access the bios is somewhere in the manual that comes with the board. mine is f2, some are f8, and whatever else there is. when i boot up my pc, i have to keep pressing f2 repeatedly because the time that gives you the chance to access bios is only a 1 second timeframe, well for me. it's usually time to press whatever button it is when you see the lights flash on your keyboard, but its still less a hassle to just keep pressing it repeatedly as soon as you start the computer.

alright well i had it all working and could get into the bios via F2 and everything was well....i installed windows then all programs the windows updates norton internet security my videocard drivers and the rest...then i was just ready to shut it down and box it up for the customer so i went start>shutdown and shut it down...when shutting down it said updating 1 of 26...so i let it do its thing until it got to 26 then it shut off...now when i go to reboot it it doesnt work at all...i get the post screen(halts there) telling me my CPU speed and press F11 for boot menu.....so i press it and it says entering boot menu but just sits there for like ever....anyone have any idea?? i would really like ot get this going for the customer tonight!!:(
