Bios Multiplier

I'm not too savvy with bios settings and when i came across this cpu multiplier, i was a little confused. I have no idea what it does. Ok, I have a p3 933 mhz running crucial 266 ddr memory. The fsb is set at 133 and so is the dram spred. The multiplier is set a 2x. I read somewhere that is sets the frequency speed internally in the cpu. Should it be set higher than? The mobo is an ecs with sis 635 chipset.

FSB x Multiplier = clock speed.

Either you're running at 266mhz, you're reading it incorrectly, or your bios has a syntax error. Sure you're not reading a 7 as a 2?
