Ok, so every time I boot my new computer I have to change the boot order to my hard drive instead of floppy and I have to change my agp bandwidth from 64 to 128?

Why is this happening? BTW I have an Asus A8V Deluxe

Radio Shack probably, shouldn't happen often, but if it does, RMA the board. Had an issue like that once where the battery wouldn't last longer than 6 months.

had this happen a lot lately with Asus boards... specifically the A7N8X-X and A7V8-X are horrible for this.... no idea why.

Should be a CR2032, you can get one at the shack for about $3, dont listen to the guy above who says to RMA your board because of a dead battery. Just replace and it go about your business. Besides, it would cost more to ship it than to go get another battery

Flash the BIOS to the latest version. My K8V Deluxe had the same problem, it would never save, when I reset the CMOS it would always say the BIOS was corrupt, put in the Recovery CD.

If it still is borked, replace the battery (most Radio Shack's carry them).

I knew someday my saved bios batteries would come in handy. :)

Good timing for this thread - it just solved my problem as well.
