I have a Gigabyte H97M-D3H (motherboard). Every single time I turn on my PC it gets stuck in the "BIOS has been reset - please decide how to continue". So I hit DON'T SAVE and continues to Windows 10-64 bit normally.

The problem is, I am unable to fix this bug FOR GOOD. I was planning on selling this old motherboard, but of course it will be hard to do that this way. I have no idea what needs to be done for this message to never appear again.

Any ideas?

This is the machine I am using:

Have you replaced the CMOS battery?
Only today, after creating this thread. One thing I didn't do was waiting a full minute after replacing the old CMOS battery. I don't know if this was a bad move and could influence the end result. I put a new battery I had here. The PC worked again, however the same problem happened after it started. Then I changed a few settings in the BIOS, and so far it's not showing again, and going directly to Windows. I'll keep monitoring for the next days, and if this thing shows up again I'll make a new post in this thread.

Most of the boards I've had for as long as I can remember have BIOS chips that can be removed with a chip-puller and replaced. Does anyone think that swapping the BIOS chip might resolve his difficulty?

It was really that CMOS battery. I restarted the machine today and it was going directly to Windows, and now without resetting the clock/time and making me use an app like NetTime to sync this using the internet.

I also had the idea to update the BIOS, but this should be the last resort and after 3978 things have failed FIRST. Because if something goes wrong then you'll end up with a brick. Also in my case it was a BETA BIOS, which is even worse and not recommended, so I gave up doing it.
