Bios hangs with any usb

I installed a new board ecs B85-H3 and it works fine but if I boot with a usb 3 plugged in any port it stops on the AMI screen. I assumed it was trying to boot from USB but in the boot order in the bios its not listed till #4. Any suggestions on what to try next I am out of ideas. Thank you

Check your BIOS USB settings.

^^^ Good idea, also try setting the BIOS to default setting if ARISVER's idea do not help. You could also test with F12, ESC (or whatever key brings up a boot option menu) with a bootable USB in place and see with happens
Do you notice any beep codes when the issue happens?

If it has a separate setting for booting from USB devices, disable it.

I would also update the BIOS Firmware if you can, that could hopefully solve the issue.
