BIOS hangs until USB hub is unplugged????

I have and asus P2B-D board running at 133 bus, only the Bios hangs at the cpu speed count when my interex usb hub is plugged in. The hub is plugged in via a 6ft standard cable plus a 10 foot extension. when I power on the lights on the hub just flash away... nothing happens. The stpid computer hangs on POST! If i unplug the hub, it continues on fine...then i just plug in the hub and use it. What can I do to save from unplugging it all the time?😕
 
My Asus CUSL2 also does this. Eventually it will continue to boot without unplugging or disabling the USB controller.

Other than that, I haven't been able to figure out another way to fix it. I haven't tried the latest BIOS yet.
