I've building a new computer for a friend and everything's gone pretty well so far. I got an old 2.8GHz Pentium 4 (it had a 2.0GHz Celeron) to max out what his board can handle, as well as a new stick of RAM (he's only using this computer for his simply school work). It's a socket 478 motherboard.
Well, the problem we're having is that when the computer starts and posts, it freezes at "Checking NVRAM". It detects the Pentium 4 at the correct speed, but just hangs while it checks for the NVRAM. Anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks/
