Bios flashing problem for CUSL2-C

OK, I'm running an ASUS CUSL2-C and I got the 1005.7 bios (from the ASUS FTP site) and tried flashing it. However, it says "Flash Memory:Unknown" and it won't let me upgrade it.

I've flashed bioses before with no problem, but for some reason it doesn't seem to want to go.

My current bios revision is 1003 and both the 1003 I have the the upgrade 1005.7 show as being for the CUSL2-C.

Any ideas as to why this board isn't detecting the Flash Memory type?

Maybe the Flash BIOS setting in the BIOS is disabled, basically it is write protected so you can't flash it. Go into bios and enable that option, then flash. Recommend disabling it again afterwards to protect from bios flashing viruses.
