BIOS Flashing Inquiry

Have Epox 8K7A mobo w/ 1600+XP (1400mhz @ 1630mhz) 1.80V. Seems to me that I need to update bios to push my overclock further, otherwise I get instability while still having temps at around 58 C.

I went into command prompt and launched the BIOS flash, but I got a msg that said AWDFlash doesn't work with NT/2000. (I'm running Win2kPro). What do I do??

Create a bios flash boot disk and boot from it.

/me walks up to the open computer in a long trenchcoat.....looks around innocently....opens the jacket to the computer and runs away.

How? I put the files on the disk, put it into the floppy, and reset. But on bootup got an error (as if it's just an ordinary floppy) and had to remove the floppy to continue booting. Do I have to add additional files to it, so it'll boot from the floppy?

Try booting your computer with a windows boot disk into dos and then run teh bios update utility.
