Bios flashing and windows 2000

What is the correct way to flash your bios under windows 2000? You can't use a win 98 boot floppy can you? Do you go into safe mode with the command prompt?

Yes, you can use a win98 boot disk, then from a: prompt switch to disk with flash and run it.

I went to bootdisk.com and got DrDos7.x and used it to flash my bios.
