Flash from windows using Winflash or equivalent.

Is this for your Asus board? then look for the windows flash util on your asus cd.

Is it possible to load a completely new bios from another manufacturer. I like my old asus bios 1000x more than this one.

it's very possible but you'll end up with a non functioning motherboard. ;)

I use Winflash with my Chaintech motherboard when flashing bios, just use winflash & you'll be fine.

Make sure you have the correct Make & model number before you atempt to flash it,incorrect bios = dead board.

yeah i just used winflash but there was no new features and it made my lan stop working for some reason, so i flashed it back to the old one and its goin to stay that way. Just a really crappy OCing board, even the agressive and the performance settings dont work for me, and ive had this cpu and ram up to 2.4ghz on my asus, can hardly get 2.2 stable on this hunk of junk. Guess its goin to make a nice budget comp for the g/f.
