Hi all,

Please let me know where I am going wrong.

I have an ATI X1950 Pro card - 512 meg. It is supposed to run slightly factory OC'ed - 600Mhz - GPU and 650MHz - memory. It has been running a bit below this - 594 and 648.

Using Catalist control centre, I have managed to let the tuning program get it up to 621 and 797 respectively.

I then tried ATIFlash to flash the BIOS - eventually realised it is not that easy so got RaBiT to read and write the BIOS rom files.

First try almost lost it - I had also pushed the voltage a bit. Then tried the GPU first - like catalist does - then the memory.

Now reading the BIOS files shows the correct speeds, but all else - GPU-Z and ATI Tray tools shows the old settings.

What have I missed?

I can't offer any assistance, but it seems an awful lot of effort for 6MHz core/2MHz memory increase.

Have you tried atitool? it's much easier than a risky bios change and offers an OC just the same.
Unless the clocks are locked or some features are disabled, there's no point in flashing the bios.
