BIOS Flash in Win2k

Ok, this may be a dumb question, but I want to make sure I don't screw anything up...

I am running win2k on an epox 8k7a+ mb. Recently, I have had some problems during the boot sequence that state that my bios is not compatible with apci. So, I've set out to update my bios to the most current version. The instructions that come with the update say to put the files on a bootable floppy and run the flash utility from the a: prompt. So....how do I make a boot disk? I've tried the 4 setup boot disks, but they don't bring me to an a: prompt. I'mve also tried copying boot.ini, ntdetect and ntldr to the floppy, but it didn't work.

Any help is appreciated!

go to bootdisk.com and download a win98 boot disk, then run it to extract to a disk

put the flash program as well as the bios update on a second floppy disk

boot off the win98 disk, then put in the second disk (the one with the bios on it)

run the flash utility and away you go
